Q: How can I get my photos or negatives scanned?
A: Easily! We offer a few options to suit our different clients’ needs. You can mail them, drop them off, host a home party, or have us pick up and drop off.
Q: Are they good enough to be re-printed at a later date?
A: Yes! You can choose between 300 dpi and 600 dpi. Just to give you a better sense, 300 dpi is usually high enough resolution for most sizes.
Q: Why do I need to scan my photos?
A: Digital photos have only been around commercially since the turn of the century. So, if you’re like us, we love our family photos and want to preserve these memories for generations to come. It also means you can share these digital photos easily with friends and family or on social media. The scanned photos are high resolution which means you can also reprint them later. And if you’re short on storage and space, having your photos digitized means you don’t need to keep hard-copies anymore. (But we still keep ours!) Y
Q: What type of documents do you recommend scanning?
A: Anything that is worth preserving for generations to come. School diplomas; birth, wedding and death certificates; letters of achievement; immigration papers. The list goes on!
Q: What are home parties?
A: Home parties are a great way to gather your friends and celebrate your memories. You bring the friends and we’ll bring the scanner. As the host of the home party, you’ll receive 500 scanned photos for free (a value of $150). You can learn more about our home parties.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Newcastle to be more precise, within a 60-minute drive of downtown Toronto.

A: Yes. You can remove the photos yourself but there will be an added fee for us to remove the photos.
We do not put the photos back in the album once scanned.
